About Tucker

Tucker was born on December 24th of 2021. When Tucker was born he was missing skin on both of his feet, lips, chest and fingers. Tucker was then diagnosed with a  rare skin condition called Recessive Dystrophic Epidermolysis Bullosa ( also know as Butterfly skin). With any friction that tucker gets it will cause an open wound. We call Tucker Tough because no matter what he is going through Tucker always has a smile on his face and is making other people laugh. Just recently Tucker was admitted to the hospital and we received the news that he has dilated cardiomyopathy. DCM is a serious heart condition where the heart's main pumping chamber (left ventricle) enlarges and weakens, making it less efficient at pumping blood, often leading to heart failure, arrhythmias, or sudden cardiac death. We have created this website to help bring awareness about  Recessive Dystrophic Epidermolysis Bullosa and dilated cardiomyopathy.
